Students also contribute meaningfully to the restoration of the Sunkiya village school: painting classrooms, organizing libraries, and enhancing sports facilities – making this journey a blend of learning, adventure, and community service in the heart of Uttarakhand.

Tucked away in the quiet Sunkiya village near Mukteshwar, Camp Sunkiya is a community-rooted eco-camp run by locals. Its tented setup blends naturally into the Kumaoni mountain village and is powered by sustainable practices like solar energy and eco-friendly construction. Guests can join in immersive experiences—from rappelling and valley crossings to guided nature walks, bird watching, and fireside storytelling. Cultural activities invite visitors to participate in local farming, cooking, and even treasure hunts inspired by The Amazing Race.

Pricing, Considerations & Inclusions
  • Pricing is indicative, final price depends on number of students and time of travel
  • For every 10 students, the cost of maintaining one teacher will be built in.
  • Price includes all accommodation on full board, travel, activities and GST.
  • Travel & accident insurance is included.
  • There will be two lead instructors from Peregrin on every program in a ratio of 1:25.
  • Additionally we will liaise with on field staff and instructors too.
  • Our team is First-aid trained and will carry a first-aid kit. Additionally, we may require supplements from school.
